NLMAS offers free GED and HiSET test preparation courses to help you earn your High School Equivalency Certification! Preparation classes are offered in both English and Spanish during the morning and evening sessions. You can also take advantage of our online preparation classes that allow you to access your course 24/7 to accommodate your busy schedule. Our online classes are also free and delivered in both English and Spanish!

Morning GED & HiSET Test Preparation Classes (In-Person)

Location: Norwalk Campus and La Mirada Campus

NLMAS offers the most current GED & HiSET preparation textbooks, online resources, and fully credentialed teachers who are well-versed in the GED & HiSET exams to assist you with preparing for the exams and scheduling to take the official exam. By enrolling into our GED & HiSET preparation classes you will gain free access to official GED & HiSET practice tests for each of the subject areas. The Norwalk-La Mirada Adult School is an official GED and HiSET Testing Center and offers test preparation for both exams.

GED
If you are interested in the GED test, log onto www.ged.com - the official site for the GED test. This website will give you full details about registering to take the 4 subject tests (Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, and Math) that are covered on the GED. Each subject test is $41 with two available retakes at a discounted price. Official tests must be purchased through the ged.com website.

HiSET
If you are interested in the HiSET test, visit www.hiset.ets.org for more information and to create a profile. There are 5 subtests (Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies) that are covered on the HiSET. The fee for each single subject HiSET test is around $40 with two free retakes for each subject.
